Production Lab: Laser Cutter

One of the most important pieces of equipment in the makerspace is the laser cutter. With this, prototypes can be cut and assembled in a much shorter time than for example a 3D printer. The laser cutter can cut various materials ranging from Nylon and acrylic to MDF, Plywood and Leather.

One of the most important pieces of equipment in the makerspace is the laser cutter. With this, prototypes can be cut and assembled in a much shorter time than for example a 3D printer. The laser cutter can cut various materials ranging from Nylon and acrylic to MDF, Plywood and Leather.

Programs are uploaded to the laser cutter through the program Lightburn (The lab PC next to the laser cutter is running this program). Once the laser cutter has been turned on it will host a hotspot that can be connected to with the lab PC.
