Wireless strain gauge consists of different parts including an input sensor which means a strain gauge, a wireless node, a gateway and the software.

The LORD MicroStrain Wireless Sensor Network is a high-speed, sensor data acquisition and sensor networking system.

In order to measure strain, full bridge, half bridge or quarter bridge should be considered by using Bridge Completion Module (BCM). This should be done in order to connect the strain gauge to the wireless node and then read data with the gateway and the software.
