We are able to measure crack length for the determination of fatigue crack growth rate by using COD. COD transducers can be used for both cyclic and static tests as well as standardized fracture mechanics specimen geometries: Compact Tension (CT) specimen, disk-shaped compact tension specimen, single edge-notched bend (SEB) specimen, middle tension (MT) specimen, Centre Crack Tension (CCT) and arc-shaped tension specimen.
