The laboratory is equipped with unique for Denmark magnetron sputtering cluster apparatus (MaSCA) capable in formation of atomic clusters (nanoparticles) of various materials in vacuum. The particles are collimated into a beam and can be deposited on a substrate in a controllable manner (one can tune the nanoparticle size and surface coverage).
